The Northampton Housing Authority is seeking responses to a Request for Services (RFS) for legal services to be provided the Authority as the General Counsel to this public housing authority with 612 units of public housing and over 700 Section 8 Vouchers. General Sealed Bids will be received until April 28, 2023 at 10:00AM.

The selected General Counsel will provide twenty hours per week of office time at the Offices of the Northampton Housing Authority, as well as litigate cases on behalf of the Agency, etc. Responses will be made in two parts: (a) evaluative criteria based on the Counsel/Firm’s experience and qualifications and ability to provide required services as outlined in the RFS, and (b) a financial proposal.
The Northampton Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities in the proposals received, and to accept the proposal which it deems most favorable. The Board of Commissioners of the Northampton Housing Authority will make the final determination of the selected General Counsel.
